JS26-12-A Jaw Coupling
Ruland JS26-12-A is a set screw zero-backlash jaw coupling hub with a 3/4″ bore, 1.625″ OD, and 0.710″ length. It is a component in a three-piece design consisiting of two aluminum hubs and an elastomeric insert called the spider creating a lightweight low inertia coupling capable of speeds up to 8,000 RPM. This three-piece design allows for a highly customizable coupling that easily combines clamp or set screw hubs with inch, metric, keyed, and keyless bores. Spiders are available in three durometers allowing the user to tailor coupling performance to their application. Ruland jaw couplings have a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum torque capabilities. JS26-12-A is machined from bar stock that is sourced exclusively from North American mills and is RoHS3 and REACH compliant. It is manufactured in our Marlborough, MA factory under strict controls using proprietary processes.
MJCC41-20-A Jaw Coupling
Ruland MJCC41-20-A is a clamp zero-backlash jaw coupling hub with a 20mm bore, 6mm keyway, 41.3mm OD, and 18.0mm length. It is a component in a three-piece design consisiting of two aluminum hubs and an elastomeric insert called the spider creating a lightweight low inertia coupling capable of speeds up to 8,000 RPM. This three-piece design allows for a highly customizable coupling that easily combines clamp or set screw hubs with inch, metric, keyed, and keyless bores. Spiders are available in three durometers allowing the user to tailor coupling performance to their application. Ruland jaw couplings have a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds. H Type – Highest Torque Jaw Coupling
- Highest torque and bore capacity jaw coupling (compared to L & C Type)
- Elastomeric cushions are radially removable
- Accommodates for angular and parallel shaft misalignment
- Fail-safe (will still perform if elastomeric cushions fail)
- No coupling grease required; no metal to metal contact
- Resistant to oil, dirt, sand, moisture, and grease
AL Type – Aluminum Jaw Coupling
- Lightweight aluminum version of the industry standard shaft coupling
- Interchangeable with L and SS line of hubs (except AL150)
- Corrosion resistant (finished bores passivated for additional protection)
- Accommodates for angular and parallel shaft misalignment
- Fail-safe – will still perform if elastomer “spider” fails
- No metal to metal contact
- Resistant to oil, dirt, sand, moisture, and grease
SS Type – Stainless Steel Jaw Coupling
- Stainless steel version of the industry standard shaft coupling
- Interchangeable with L and AL line of hubs (except AL150)
- Finished bores passivated for added rust protection
- Accommodates for angular and parallel shaft misalignment
- Fail-safe (will still perform if elastomeric “spider” fails)
- No metal to metal contact
C Type – Higher Torque Jaw Coupling
- Greater torque and bore capacity (compared to L type)
- Elastomeric cushions are radially removable
